Who Is Viv?
Jun. 12th, 2024 08:29 amWhilst the book series has become a bit more popular, I thought a quick run down for anyone curious would be worth a shot for simplicities sake.
Viv is the main character from Legends And Lattes, a slice of life comfort fantasy book.
Viv is a 45 year old orc woman who stands at 7'0. She's scarred from a lifetime of adventuring and muscular on top of that. She has long tied black curly hair. Her tusks protrudes from her mouth over top lip, but not in a way that makes her lisp.
Viv gave up adventuring after a decade or more to start a new life for herself. Viv was tired of the constant fighting, scraping by and danger that came with adventuring. She had finally found a passion all her own in the aftermath of a job.
Coffee.
Gnomish coffee to be exact.
Viv planned everything meticulously for her final adventuring gig to get a fabled stone from inside of a rare/endangered monster. With this fabled apparently lucky stone, she set out to Thune to set up her own coffee shop. Shockingly, things go well for her. With only a few minor setbacks.

Canon facts
-Viv is well read, voracious reader when given a chance to relax.
-Viv enjoys a good romance book, as much as she does a adventure thriller.
-Viv thinks everyone deserves a chance to be themselves, even if they are decidedly offbeat.
-Viv is Sapphic, primarily interested in women and nonbinary folks.
-Viv can cook tolerably, but better to not leave her be with anything nice.
-Viv is a dedicated friend, and will pour her time and heart into helping her friends.
-Viv is also a bit soft at heart. She tries for compassion where she can. Though she isn't opposed to punching things if needed.
-Viv keeps her fashion sense well, sensible. Plain clothing in neutral tones. She knows not much regularly fits her to begin with. Why go outside that comfort zone?
